Prof. John M.H. Kelly and Prof. Miranda Brady<\/p><\/div>\n

A new book co-authored by School of Journalism & Communication faculty Miranda Brady<\/a> and John M.H. Kelly<\/a> is drawing attention across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Brady (Communication and Media Studies) and Prof. Kelly (Journalism) recently spoke to B.C.-based online magazine <\/span>The Tyee<\/span><\/i> about their book, <\/span>We Interrupt This Program: Indigenous Media Tactics in Canadian Culture<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Published in October 2017 by UBC Press, the book <\/span>explores the creative use of media by Indigenous people to rewrite Canada\u2019s national narratives from Indigenous perspectives<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
