Trudy O’Brien has just published (February 1st, 2019) a chapter in the book “Intercultural Foreign language teaching and learning.” Her chapter is entitled “Bringing cross-cultural communication analysis into foreign language classrooms” and focuses on why helping L2 learners acquire such skills will help their transition into using the target language effectively and appropriately in global and not just local contexts.
