TLS now has a list of up-to-date classroom information on its website, which indicates the type of seating, equipment, etc. that is in the room.

This is a reminder that STA requests do not roll over from year to year and need to be requested each timetabling cycle. If you are unsure of which designation you fall under, click here for some examples.

Faculty STAs and Classroom Requirements 2026-2027

Please use this form to indicate your teaching preferences for the academic year 2026-2027.

This form includes fields to capture Special Timetable Arrangements (STA) that need to apply to all of your courses. This includes medical needs, child care arrangements, administrative duties, etc. You will receive a copy of your form submission for your records once submitted. Teaching Load and Reductions

Special Timetable Arrangements (STA)

Please note that previous Special Timetable Arrangements are not carried over from the previous academic year. New requests must be submitted for the Fall 2026 – Winter 2027 academic year. Select no if you do not qualify for an STA. Unsure if your request is an STA or a preference? In general, faculty members who do not have an STA will be scheduled to teach from 8:35am – 5:25pm, and class times will follow the CU standard, to maximized room usage. When information is entered into the scheduling system, we automatically block time for departmental meetings, administrative meetings, etc.
