If you’re thinking about applying for a job outside of academia, a common challenge is learning how to effectively communicate the value of your graduate degree and the skills you have developed throughout your graduate studies. In this workshop, Stacey-Ann Morris from Carleton’s Career Services will discuss practical tips and strategies for preparing your application for alternative-to-academic careers. This includes resume and cover letter writing, as well as identifying and communicating your valuable skills to employers!

If you would like to attend, please email Christine (Graduate Transitions Mentor) at christine.pich@carleton.ca to register.

This workshop is part of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology’s Graduate Career Transitions Workshop Series. All current graduate students, alumni, and post-doctoral fellows are welcome!
