We hope many of you can join us!

Please join us for the Second Annual SocAnth Online Trivia Night, Wednesday May 25 at 7 pm, to raise funds for the Sociology Anthropology undergraduate scholarship for Black, Indigenous, and racialized students at Carleton University.

This event will be hosted by Sociology instructor Billy Flynn. Small prizes and major glory to the winners.

Questions are fun and general knowledge (not Sociology/Anthropology specific). Play individually or organize a team with family and/or friends and discuss your answers by texting or messaging before submitting your team’s answers. Start working on your team name!

The entry fee is a donation to the Sociology Anthropology undergraduate scholarship for Black, Indigenous, and racialized students at Carleton University. Suggested minimum donation $25 per individual or team, but pay what you can. Tax receipt provided.

Last year’s trivia event featured 16 teams or individuals with 42 people or groups on the Zoom and raised nearly $3000. The winning team last year was Uncle Ho’s Excellent Adventure, edging the Trivia Salmonbellies on tiebreak, with the SASA Groundhogs taking third prize, just a point ahead of Team End of the World and the Barflies.

To register, please e-mail aaron.doyle@carleton.ca.
A Zoom link will be sent on the day of the event.
