In an attempt to provide some shared ‘cohort space’ for undergraduate students during the ongoing lockdown, there will be weekly, SOCI/ANTH hangouts (3-4pm every Friday) with the theme of ‘pandemic pets’ and our relationships with them.
All are welcome! Pop in and say ‘hi’ with your cat, dog, gerbil, parrot, smartphone, etc. No animals/pets required to participate but if you have some ideas/thoughts to share about the sociology and/or anthropology of pets/animals then all the better!
