In these courses, I learned that there are many different ways to view and treat mental illnesses. Learning different ideas and approaches of how to view and treat mental health opens many new doors to an individual’s recovery. After learning and researching this material, I have been able to apply my studies to my current job as a Residential Counsellor for people with addiction and mental health issues. I plan to continue in academia and hope to contribute my own findings to my cognitive behavioural therapy sessions and become more inclusive to all peoples and cultures.”

[70

post-23224","cu_people","type-cu_people","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","cu_people_type-alumni-success-ug-anth
["GET
