The Prosperity Project was founded to help alleviate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Canadian women who are disproportionately affected. In addition to advocacy and mentoring programs, it will also undertake an ambitious longitudinal study of women’s engagement in the Canadian economic recovery process. Carole’s current role is in both research and outreach: in research, she aims to help develop this body of data and leverage it for fellow researchers, and on the outreach side, she hopes to develop tools that will facilitate the communication of many of their findings and engage people from marginalized communities.

Follow The Prosperity Project on Instagram (@cdnprosperity), Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (@CA_Prosperity), and Youtube.

Anthropology PhD student Carole Therrien is one of the visionaries involved in The Prosperity Project, an initiative by 60 private, public, and media women of influence that will highlight women’s roles in post-crisis recovery.
