Moving between family archives, portraiture, fashion, and textiles, the exhibition reflects on cultural inheritance, belonging, and the ways home and memory are carried across distance and generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition launch will take place at CUAG on October 4 from 2:00\u20134:30 p.m. An additional exhibition event is planned for October 24, with details to be announced.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition and events are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reyhab Mohmed Patel, PhD candidate and Contract Instructor in Sociology at Carleton University, is the curator of Faisa Omer: Threading Roots, on view at the Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) from September 29 to December 13, 2026.
