The Carleton University Sociology & Anthropology Graduate Student Caucus (SAGSC) conference committee invites submissions for its 6th annual graduate student conference<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friction at the Margins: <\/span><\/b>Emerging Perspectives and Methods<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee aims to provide an opportunity and platform for graduate students to share their unique research, and receive insightful feedback from colleagues and peers in a supportive and encouraging environment. The two-day conference will take place April 6 – 7 in Dunton Tower (Room 2017) at Carleton University.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome submissions from a wide range of disciplines and perspectives, including (but not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Structural, conflict, & interactionist perspectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Critical, postmodern, & feminist perspectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Law, criminology, & sociolegal studies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Political science, geography, & urban studies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Citizenship, immigration, & globalization<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/span>      <\/span>Political activism, social justice, & community engagement<\/p>\n\n\n\n
