Hello! My pronouns are she\/her. My identities include white settler, fat, cis-woman, queer, chronically ill and an ADHD baddie. I have had the privilege of engaging in anti-oppressive focused social justice at the grassroots level, working with a variety of communities including folks living with addiction, houselessness, poverty and disability. Some of my work has included co-founding and operating Overdose Prevention Ottawa<\/a>, a volunteer-run supervised consumption site to push for funded sites when the city had none. Additionally, I was one of the founding members of the reproductive justice focused Pro Choice Coalition Ottawa.<\/a> I’ve also been honoured to be a part of the \u201cExperiences of Encounters with the Police in Ottawa\u201d<\/a> research team, exploring the stories of individuals from disproportionately policed communities during encounters with police.
