SIGNALS 16th Annual Banquet
February 2, 2018 at 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
|Location:||Lago Bar and Grill, 1001 Queen Elizabeth Dr, Ottawa|
We have some great news – the early bird ticket sales for the 16th annual SIGNALS banquet have been extended until Friday, January 12! You can still buy yours here at the great price of $50 for students, and $60 for non-students. There is also the attractive ‘Friends, Colleagues and Family Package’ of 5 tickets for $275.
This year our speakers Robert Hornung and Mark Winfield will be exploring the topic “What is Happening to Canada’s Energy Transition?: Technology, Policy and Elections.” Specifically, what is the role going forward for new renewables in Canada, given: the still dramatic advances in solar and wind technology globally; federal and provincial policy commitments in the Pan-Canadian Framework for Clean Growth and Climate Change, and the Federal Budget ’16 and ’17 program commitments for new renewables and energy infrastructure; in a period of potential disruption in the face of several provincial elections?
The event will take place at Lago Bar and Grill on February 2, 2018 from 6pm-10pm. We hope to see you there to engage in this lively discussion with the speakers, your friends and colleagues.
Hope to see you there,
Your SIGNALS Executive
