SIGNALS Welcome for SE Students
September 11, 2020 at 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
To kick off the new academic year, SIGNALS, a networking group for energy and environmental professionals in the Ottawa area connected and run by students and alumni from Carleton University’s Master’s Programs, will be hosting an online event for SPPA Sustainable Energy (SE) students on Friday, September 11 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). This event will provide an introduction to the program and the group, as well as outline what SIGNALS has planned for the fall/winter.
The event will feature several guests, professors and alumni, who will introduce and talk about their experiences in the program and the network. This roughly 45 minute session will be followed by a 15 minute Q/A.
We look forward to meeting you all.
SIGNALS is a group of ‘Students, Interested parties, and Graduates Networking And Liaising around Sustainability.’ The network stems from the Innovation, Science, and Environment stream of Public Administration Program and the Sustainable Energy (SE) Program, both of Carleton’s School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA). SIGNALS brings together students, alumni, and professors who are concerned about sustainable development issues.
