It will highlight key supports like the CISCE, peer mentoring, Elders-in-residence, and culturally specific mental health services. The workshop will also provide strategies for creating an inclusive classroom environment and addressing challenges faced by Indigenous students, such as cultural dislocation and intergenerational trauma. Through panel discussions, group conversations, and allyship training, participants will learn how to better support Indigenous students.
