Join this session to learn about the various ways to support the development of students\u2019 employability regardless of your role on campus. By creating more awareness of the many existing ways to enhance student employability, which include academics, co-curricular activities and services, we can better support students in their career goals and position them for success beyond graduation. This session will include practical take-aways and resources to help enhance students\u2019 employability for all staff and faculty, regardless of the role they hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"learning-outcomes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Outcomes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this workshop, staff and faculty will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define components of the Employability Framework<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe the importance of the Employability Framework for students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Articulate how you can apply the Employability Framework in your work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe where to find the toolkit, as well as Career Services resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-to-expect-at-the-session\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to expect at the session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Session length: 1.5 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop may include the following activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Periods of sitting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Listening to a facilitator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussion and interaction with colleagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Viewing a multimedia presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Carleton University embraces diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
