She completed her undergraduate degree in Software Engineering at Carleton University in 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mohammed\u2019s\u00a0expertise\u00a0is rooted in embedded systems and software engineering, with a growing research focus on advancing autonomous and connected vehicle systems. During her undergraduate studies, she gained hands-on experience through a hackathon hosted by SKYTRAC, where her team developed an embedded software solution and won the $15,000 grand prize. This experience led to\u00a0Mohammed\u2019s\u00a0role as an Embedded Software Engineer at SKYTRAC, where she worked on aviation technology systems. She is currently continuing to build her technical\u00a0expertise\u00a0through her master\u2019s research in the\u00a0TrustCAV\u00a0program under the supervision of Professors\u00a0Mohamed Atia and Mojtaba Ahmadi, and through an embedded software engineering internship with\u00a0Pleora\u00a0Technologies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a student member of the Towards Carleton@100&nbsp;strategic visioning process,&nbsp;Mohammed&nbsp;is committed to contributing to innovation,&nbsp;collaboration&nbsp;and student success.
