She has built her career within the wellness and fitness industry, with experience spanning wellness programming, recreation, student engagement, partnership\u00a0development\u00a0and community-focused initiatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thompson&#8217;s\u00a0expertise\u00a0centres on developing inclusive wellness and recreation programs that support engagement,\u00a0belonging\u00a0and student success. In her current role, Thompson collaborates closely with campus and community partners to create and enhance initiatives that strengthen connections across the university community while promoting participation and well-being. She also serves as Chair of the Athletics Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, supporting inclusive practices and initiatives throughout the department.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thompson&#8217;s work reflects a strong belief in the importance of culture, relationships and community in fostering healthy and connected environments.
