He oversees the faculty\u2019s communications team and&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;managing both internal and external communications related to FASS programs, people,&nbsp;stories&nbsp;and events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ward&#8217;s&nbsp;work focuses on promoting the accomplishments and activities of the faculty to a range of audiences, ensuring that important initiatives,&nbsp;achievements&nbsp;and opportunities are effectively communicated.&nbsp;He&nbsp;also edits and publishes the FASS newsletter and&nbsp;FASSinate, the faculty\u2019s annual alumni&nbsp;magazine&nbsp;and serves as the primary contact for FASS media relations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through his leadership in strategic communications,\u00a0Ward\u00a0supports meaningful engagement between the faculty and its students, alumni, community partners and external stakeholders.
