He is also the Director of the Collaborative Specialization in Accessibility, the Abilities Living Laboratory (ALL) and an affiliate investigator with the Bruy\u00e8re Health Research Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chan\u00a0also\u00a0served as Director of Carleton\u2019s Research and Education in Accessibility, Design and Innovation (READi) training program, funded through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada\u2019s CREATE program. His\u00a0expertise\u00a0spans teaching and learning, curriculum development,\u00a0accessibility\u00a0and academic program enhancement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since joining Carleton in 2002,&nbsp;Chan&nbsp;has earned a reputation as an accomplished scholar,&nbsp;educator&nbsp;and mentor. His contributions to teaching have been recognized through&nbsp;numerous&nbsp;awards, including the Capital Educator Award, the 3M National Teaching Fellowship, the Faculty Graduate Mentoring&nbsp;Award&nbsp;and the Provost Teaching Fellow Award.
