Carmichael is Associate Registrar of Scheduling and Examination Services at Carleton University, a leadership role she has held since 2017. Alongside her administrative responsibilities, she is pursuing a PhD in Anthropology, focusing on ADHD and family structure. Carmichael&#8217;s current research reflects a trajectory shaped by lived experience and builds on a growing interdisciplinary body of scholarship.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carmichael&#8217;s academic work includes significant contributions to research on academic integrity and machine learning. She completed a Master of Applied Science and was awarded the University Medal for Outstanding Graduate Research in 2024.
