His work focuses on advancing innovation and entrepreneurship across business,\u00a0education\u00a0and community systems, with a particular interest in how organizations learn,\u00a0adapt\u00a0and implement change.\u00a0Colbourne\u2019s\u00a0doctoral research at the University of Cambridge examined organizational learning across multinational organizations, exploring how strategy and adaptation develop from operational to executive levels. This research continues to inform his applied work, where he studies how entrepreneurs and organizations put innovation into practice through tools such as artificial intelligence\u00a0and\u00a0building adaptive systems that connect people,\u00a0ventures\u00a0and markets.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to joining academia,&nbsp;Colbourne co-led global digital transformation projects at Accenture within the creative industries, working on rights management platforms, digital content&nbsp;systems&nbsp;and commercialization strategies.
