It will result in both a near-term action plan for 2026\u20132030 and a longer-term vision and direction through 2042.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"project-timeline\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Timeline&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vision will be developed throughout 2026, with formal launch and phased implementation beginning in 2027.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Phase 1:<\/strong> Launch and Community&nbsp;Mobilization&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phase 2:&nbsp;<\/strong>Community&nbsp;Engagement and&nbsp;Working Group Deliberations&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phase 3:<\/strong> Drafting and Community Feedback&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phase 4:<\/strong> Final Vision and Implementation Roadmap&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phase 5: <\/strong>Academic and Administrative Unit Alignment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"steering-committee\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steering Committee&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Steering Committee provides&nbsp;overall&nbsp;strategic&nbsp;leadership&nbsp;for the visioning process.&nbsp;It&nbsp;establishes&nbsp;the parameters for the work, integrates input from across the university and&nbsp;advises&nbsp;the president on the final vision and plan. The committee also provides guidance on priorities,&nbsp;feasibility&nbsp;and implementation once the plan is approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"membership\" Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Towards&nbsp;Carleton@100 visioning process&nbsp;is organized around&nbsp;five&nbsp;strategic themes, each <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/strategic-plan\/working-groups\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"72\">explored by a dedicated working group<\/a>.&nbsp;These groups&nbsp;are responsible for&nbsp;forward-looking, evidence-informed analysis and for developing recommendations that will guide the university\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These groups bring together&nbsp;students,&nbsp;faculty&nbsp;and&nbsp;staff to examine priorities, opportunities and challenges in their areas while addressing cross-cutting issues such as financial sustainability,
