Carleton University is pleased to support and work in partnership with students who are being sponsored by third party organization\u00a0while studying at Carleton University.<\/p>\n
While we make every effort to communicate with sponsored students regarding fees and the current status of sponsorship agreements, it is the student\u2019s responsibility to monitor their student account to ensure that all fees are paid and received by Carleton University. The student is responsible to pay any portion of their fees that their sponsor declines to cover.<\/p>\n
Student account information is private and confidential and it is necessary for the student to provide consent for a third party<\/a>, authorizing release of their financial information.<\/p>\n Information sheet for sponsors<\/a><\/p>\n We require a copy of the sponsorship agreement. This agreement should contain:<\/p>\n Whenever possible, please send the agreement in electronic format via\u00a0email<\/a>.<\/p><\/dd> Ensure that Student Accounts\u00a0has received your sponsorship agreement prior to the term payment deadlines.<\/p><\/dd> Carleton University\u00a0issues invoices after the financial withdrawal deadline<\/a>\u00a0for the term has passed. This is the date in which the fees are finalized and cannot be changed by the student. Since we issue invoices after the financial withdraw deadline, we do not charge any late fees or interest on sponsored accounts.<\/p><\/dd>\n
