Digital humanities tools and methods offer powerful ways to collaborate with communities, bringing together storytelling, data, and place-based knowledge. At StudioDH, we combine participatory research practices with digital mapping, archiving, visualization, and creative media production to co-create insights that reflect community priorities and lived experiences. This intersection supports more inclusive research, strengthens local partnerships, and helps transform collective knowledge into meaningful action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

StudioDH has been created thanks to a $2.2M gift from a generous Carleton donor. This donation supports StudioDH activities and related experiential learning through the creation of three funds: a Student Experience Fund<\/strong>, which provides students with opportunities to learn from experts in the field and network with peers from other institutions by attending national and international conferences and events; a Student Support Fund<\/strong>, which provides financial aid to students participating in the Digital Humanities program and; an Equipment Fund<\/strong>, which bolsters student research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n \n
