Did you know that on campus you can also recycle personal electronic waste? Sustainability Carleton has for the last few years partnered with Electrobac to offer three secure recycling bins for personal e-waste, items like headphones, old phones, chargers and toners/cartridges. This program continues to be embraced by our community and in 2019 over 3100 items were collected and diverted from landfill. This is the equivalent carbon saving of 241 mature tress being saved and an increase of 20% from 2018.
