Recognizing that electrification is emerging as the most credible pathway to realize net-zero transitions in multiple sectors, this project examines how incumbents seek to obstruct electrification across heating, transport, and electricity sectors in three Canadian provinces: Ontario, Alberta, and Qu\u00e9bec. The project will analyze policy positions articulated by natural gas distributors, electricity utilities, and other incumbents during contemporary climate and energy policy consultations.
