Unlocking the Power of AI Tools | A TIM\u2013TiE Ottawa Innovation Week Launch Event

Innovation Week at Carleton University launched with impact as the Technology Innovation Management (TIM) – Carleton University and TiE Ottawa joined forces to kick off the first of five sessions in our new AI-first workshop series\u2014and we\u2019re proud to share it was a sold-out event with 120 engaged participants!

This dynamic partnership between TIM and TiE Ottawa is rooted in a shared commitment: to empower professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations to lead\u2014not lag\u2014in today\u2019s AI-powered world.

A huge thank-you to:
– Bharat Rudra<\/strong>, Co-founder and Past President of TiE Ottawa, for igniting the evening with a powerful message about Canada\u2019s innovation leadership
– Dr. <\/a>Tony Bailetti<\/strong>, Academic Director of the TIM Program, for framing the future with clarity: AI-first is not optional\u2014it\u2019s essential

– Jiuhui (Sonny) Cai<\/strong> \u2013 Supply chain and AI integration specialist<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, they guided participants through the real capabilities of ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity\u2014proving that these tools, when used purposefully, can truly unlock productivity, creativity, and innovation.

This is more than a workshop\u2014it\u2019s a movement. The TIM\u2013TiE Ottawa AI Series is designed to help teams define real-world problems, select the right tools, and build AI-first organizations from the ground up.
