Welcome to My (Online) Classroom is a workshop series led by instructors, for instructors, with a specific focus on sharing a wide variety of ideas, strategies, and approaches to teaching online. The sessions will begin with a brief overview from the presenter, and then open for question-and-answer and discussion more broadly. The idea is to create spaces where instructors, regardless of experience, can exchange ideas for teaching online.
This particular session will be led by Celine Bonnotte-Hoover, an Instructor with the Department of French. This fall, Dr. Bonnotte-Hoover is teaching courses both the “in-person only” and “HyFlex” formats. At her session, she will be sharing some of the practices and strategies that worked for her when teaching in these modalities, as well as some of the challenges she encountered along the way and how she worked to mitigate them. If you’re teaching in-person or HyFlex this fall or winter and are looking for insights on how to do so from a colleague who has ‘been there,’ this is the session for you!
