Applications for Winter 2024 are now open, and will close when the program has reached capacity for the Winter term.
Before applying for I-CUREUS, please note:
- Funding is split evenly between Teaching and Learning Services and the faculty supervisor.
- This opportunity is not available to contract instructors.
- There is a two-student per faculty member limit and one student per project.
- Only one application per student per academic year (May-April) shall be accepted.
- Projects can run for the duration of the Fall term, Winter term, or may span the Fall and Winter Terms. Projects may not exceed 150 hours.
- Fall term projects must conclude before the end of Fall term in December of 2023, while Fall-Winter and Winter term projects must conclude before the end of Winter term in April 2024.
- Internships are not considered complete until the student has completed a Capstone project to showcase their work. Details of this Capstone project will be shared with successful applicants.
- Students participating in I-CUREUS are required to complete a FUSION module alongside their project to further contribute to their academic and professional development. More information about the modules will be forwarded to you upon your acceptance into the program.

The I-CUREUS program has reached capacity for the Winter 2024 term and we are not accepting new applications at this time. Please note, I-CUREUS projects must be a minimum of 8 weeks long, and must conclude before the official end of the term. As such we cannot accept applications for Fall term projects beyond February 16th. Applications for Summer Term projects will open in April.
