Marylynn\u00a0Steckley<\/span>\u202fis an Assistant Professor in the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs. Since starting at Carleton, she has worked as the main faculty contributor to the BGInS International Experience Requirement and is responsible for having developed both Canada\u2019s first ever virtual international e-volunteering experiential learning course (GINS3100) and Canada\u2019s first ever virtual experiential learning field school in global studies (GINS3300). Additionally, Steckley has an ongoing research project investigating e-volunteering as an international experience.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022, Marylynn was named a recipient of the Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award<\/a> and an OCUFA Teaching Award<\/a> for the creativity and care she puts into her teaching.
