One student wrote that Claudia \u201ccreates a passion and excitement in students and can light a spark in an individual that can be harnessed for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claudia is also the recipient of Carleton\u2019s 2016 <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/tls\/awards-and-grants\/internal-awards\/excellence-in-learning-support-award\/\">Excellence in Learning Support Award<\/a> for her distinctive and creative methods of fostering student engagement. She helps students make connections between biology in the lab and other areas of study in which they might be more invested.
