apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"funding\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$5,000 per project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funds may be received as direct compensation (taxable as salary). We are additionally seeking clarity from the university&#8217;s financial authority on whether the funds could optionally be deposited into an internal university account and administered directly by the participant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"focus-areas\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focus Areas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects must focus on leveraging&nbsp;<strong>immersive learning technologies and\/or digital storytelling<\/strong> to support student engagement, experiential learning, student success, digital literacies\/skills, or other aspects of teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"support\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful fellows will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support from Teaching and Learning Services, including the team members of the Experiential Learning Hub<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prioritized access to development resources, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students as Partners Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational development and technology support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immersive media and digital storytelling assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"project-requirements\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful applicants must commit to sharing findings and reflections through an academic output, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A journal article or book chapter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conference presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TLS-organized showcases<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"evaluation-criteria\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evaluation Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be evaluated based on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eligibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clarity of the teaching problem being addressed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Potential to engage or impact a diverse student population<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporation of immersive or digital storytelling approaches in education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project assessment plan (success is not mandatory; measurable outcomes and indicators are required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A detailed budget (if applicable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to collaboration, community participation and dissemination of results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A letter of support from applicant\u2019s department chair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"application-deadline\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Deadline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dec. 7, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"more-information\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions may be directed to <a href=\"mailto:tls@carleton.ca\">tls@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"apply-to-the-fellowship\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply to the Fellowship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The application deadline has now passed.
