Creation Suites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Creation Suites are a digital makerspace dedicated to creative exploration and educational technology. Designed for both instructors producing course materials and students completing assignments, the suites provide specialized resources for XR development, podcasting, video editing and 3D modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience Studios<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Experience Studios are technology-enhanced spaces designed to facilitate education through headset-based extended reality (XR) experiences. The studios provide students and instructors with access to headsets, a simulation rig and PC workstations for exploring experiences or for testing their own projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested in booking or want to learn more? Fill out the Experience Studios request form<\/a> (we do not currently accommodate unscheduled drop-ins). We highly recommend you book a consult with our team before booking anything for your course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media Production Studio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our professional studio offers a versatile, controlled environment for high-quality video and audio production. Operated by our team of experts, the space features teleprompter support and multiple background options, including greenscreen and black drape (limbo). We also offer a custom-built lightboard for creating engaging videos where instructors can annotate and illustrate concepts in real time using fluorescent markers on illuminated glass. Active Learning Classroom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The schedule and bookings for this space in 624 Southam Hall<\/a> is controlled by Scheduling and Examination Services<\/a>. When booking the space, please ensure that you have selected the ZAVR code if your intention is to use Experiential Learning Hub support services for your class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this space isn’t available, we also have a collaboration space in 601 Southam Hall that seats 25 students. For more information, please reach out to us<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
