Discover how students, instructors and TAs are facilitating meaningful learning through a variety of endeavours, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ePortfolios<\/li>\n<li>Peer assessment<\/li>\n<li>Flipped classrooms<\/li>\n<li>Free and open online courses<\/li>\n<li>Teaching in active learning spaces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the concurrent sessions, the symposium will feature a keynote address by Dr. Roberta Bondar, Canada\u2019s first female astronaut and a highly accomplished researcher and educator. Her presentation, entitled <em>Plastic Passion \u2013 The Brain Knoweth What the Heart Seeks<\/em>, will kick off the event.
