The lines between our campuses and wider communities are less distinct and technology is enabling new teaching and learning paradigms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This presentation will explore how individual universities, university consortia and a massive EU higher education system are embracing the digital revolution and globalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session will run from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in room 2228 River Building. Spaces are limited, so <a title=\"Embracing the Digital Revolution\" href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/edc\/cu_event\/embracing-the-digital-revolution\/\">register here today<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Xavier Prats Monn\u00e9 is the Director-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission. Since 2011, as Deputy Director-General, he has been responsible for EU policies in the field of education and training and for the EU education programmes for 2014-2020 period, including Erasmus+ and Marie Sk\u0142odowska Curie. Since August 2014, as Director-General, he is also responsible for EU policies in the field of culture, youth and sport, and for the Creative Europe programme.
