In fact, the ubiquity and flexibility of online learning in some situations can make it easier for students to procrastinate or become disengaged with the learning material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For faculty teaching in online and blended classrooms, it is import to create a sense of community among their geographically dispersed students. Many online instructors have found that brief (7-10 minute) screencasts have helped students feel more connected.
