Join us on Nov. 10 from 1-2 p.m. and find out how digital feedback can positively impact your courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll look at the motivation behind providing feedback and the tools, such as rubrics and grading forms, that you can leverage to help grade more quickly and provide consistency across different markers.&nbsp;Course grading structures and cuLearn course interaction data will also be examined to pull out automatic feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A general outline of the session follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The purpose of and motivation behind feedback<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dimensions of feedback: timing, amount, mode, and audience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feedback opportunities (rubrics, grading forms, text, drawing, audio, video)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating course checkpoints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/edc\/cu_event\/providing-feedback-while-you-mark-in-culearn\/\">register here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rich feedback opportunities that motivate and provide growth opportunities for students can be integrated into your course without adding to your workload.
