Don\u2019t forget about <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/tasupport\/teaching-events\/\">TA Training Day<\/a> on Saturday, Sept. 17, where they can participate in workshops and hear keynote addresses from award-winning instructors Claudia Buttera and Rodney Nelson.<\/p>\n<p>There are two certificate programs to take advantage of. The popular <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/tasupport\/certificates\/preparing-to-teach-certificate\/\">Preparing to Teach certificate<\/a> is targeted at PhD candidates looking to pursue a career in teaching, while our <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/tasupport\/certificates\/certificate-in-teaching-assistant-skills\/\">Certificate in Teaching Assistant Skills<\/a> program is a flexible, self-directed way for TAs to build their CV and show future employers their commitment to teaching excellence.<\/p>\n<p>These are just a few highlights of the options available this fall.
