Do you have a process or a sequence that you need to illustrate for your students? Lightboard might be the answer for you.<\/p>\n

Lightboard is a large\u00a0sheet of glass powered by colourful LED lights.\u00a0It can be used to create short, engaging videos that showcase the instructor drawing or annotating on the glass with fluorescent markers\u00a0to help illustrate their message.\u00a0The tool is especially useful for instructors who want to provide explanations of problems or case studies, review material, or annotate images, videos or physical objects.<\/p>\n

\"Pam<\/a>Lightboard was originally designed by\u00a0Professor Michael\u00a0Peshkin\u00a0at the\u00a0Northwestern\u00a0McCormick School of Engineering to support his\u00a0electronics design course, which was offered both in\u00a0online and blended learning environments.\u00a0The tool helped him engage with viewers as he stood facing the camera while drawing sketches and equations.\u00a0You can learn more about Peshkin and see some examples of a lightboard in action here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
