Check them out below:<\/p>\n<h4>1. Study Abroad<\/h4>\n<p>Many universities in Ontario have exchange partners in countries in Europe, Africa, South America and Australia! And if you were wondering, Masters students can apply for exchanges, too! To study abroad at Carleton, visit\u00a0<a title=\"International Students Services Office website\" href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/isso\/international-opportunities\/exchange\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/carleton.ca\/isso\/international-opportunities\/exchange\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>2. Work Abroad<\/h4>\n<p>There are many short and long-term opportunities to work abroad, especially if you already completed your undergraduate degree and speak more than one language. For example, teaching English is a popular post-graduate opportunity and a great way to pay off student debt! Working abroad is a great networking opportunity and this can help with your post-graduate job search.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Intern\/volunteer abroad<\/h4>\n<p>Volunteering and interning abroad will assist you in your professional development, and take you one step closer to kick starting future career. Use this opportunity to further identify your strengths and weaknesses and what career path you want to take!<\/p>\n<p>All of these opportunities can make you become an inter-culturally effective person and a global citizen!<\/p>\n<h4>5 Websites where you can find Entry-Level Work\/Volunteer Placements in Development<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><a title=\"A web tool for job searches\" href=\"http:\/\/www.careerbeacon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.careerbeacon.com\/<\/a> &#8211; This is a great tool to use as you can filter your search to include your areas of interest and apply for positions directly through career beacon, as opposed to going to different websites.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<a title=\"Website which posts non-profit job opportunities in Canada\" href=\"http:\/\/www.charityvillage.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.charityvillage.com<\/a> \u2013 If you are interested in applying for non profit work within Canada, this is a great a job search tool. Make sure to select \u2018Entry level, Non-Management\u2019 if you are looking for non profit jobs and have minimal experience.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"A website for self-funded UN internships\" href=\"\/\/unac.org\/unac-projects\/international-internships\/unppp-iyip-2013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0http:\/\/unac.org\/unac-projects\/international-internships\/unppp-iyip-2013\/<\/a> &#8211; Self-funded UN placements all over the world.
