As part of Teaching and Learning Services\u2019 30th Anniversary celebrations, TLS will host two special presentations by the Fulbright Canada Distinguished Chairs in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).<\/span><\/p>\n

On March 30, professor\u00a0<\/span>Susan Hrach<\/span><\/a>\u00a0presents, No More Brains on Sticks: A Case for Embodied Learning<\/a>. The presentation looks at the role of the human body in learning by examining how embodied strategies can enhance student engagement and performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

On April 6, professor\u00a0<\/span>Peter Felten<\/span><\/a>\u00a0presents, Relationships Matter: Teaching for Learning, Equity, and Well-Being<\/a>. Drawing on interviews with students, faculty and staff in the U.S., the presentation explores educational relationships as an approach to improving student experiences and achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n
