South Africa-Canada research collaboration has developed and deepened over the past three decades, contributing significantly to post-apartheid research and innovation policy development. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/span>South Africa-Canada Universities Network (SACUN)<\/span><\/a> was recently established to further strengthen research cooperation. As a next step, the <\/span>National Research Foundation<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council<\/span><\/a> will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Carleton University, SACUN’s anchor institution in Canada, on Nov. 20 and introduce a joint call for seed funding. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event will celebrate South African and Canadian researchers and identify synergistic opportunities under the current priority themes.
