\n Become a TA for the EDC!\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

The EDC is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant (130 hours) in a service role for the Winter 2017 term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The position will involve providing support for the EDC\u2019s TA-related initiatives, including TA Training<\/a> and the TA Mentor Program<\/a>. The candidate will help the EDC to fulfill its obligation to track attendance hours for its various live and online workshops via the TA Management System. Working with the Educational Development Facilitator and\/or EDC partners, he or she will also be tasked with a small project(s) to help extend the EDC\u2019s support for Carleton\u2019s TAs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates selected for an interview will be graduate students registered full-time, in good standing in their program, and within their degree completion time. They will also be conscientious, detail oriented, available to work on a weekly schedule, and have some demonstrated interest in pedagogical matters (i.e., extensive participation in EDC TA workshops, completion of one of the EDC\u2019s certificate programs for TAs, and so on).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
