When multiple sectors (such as the triple helix of academia, industry and government) collaborate, they have the potential to generate innovative solutions to complex social problems. These \u201cinnovative solutions\u201d <em>may <\/em>involve venture creation, which suggests there is merit in looking at whether theories of entrepreneurship (such as effectuation) can inform collaboration among sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My major task was to critically search through multiple online databases to examine disparate literatures in support of the overall research aims of the internship. I then drew on what I found to write a peer-reviewed journal article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"value-of-experience\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Value of Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This experience enabled me to enhance my critical thinking and analytical skills. I-CUREUS provided me with the unique experience of working alongside a Sprott researcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"to-future-participants\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Future Participants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I would tell people considering participating in this opportunity to do it.
