We are pleased to announce the outstanding educators receiving the 2026 Carleton University Teaching Awards.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provost\u2019s Fellowship in Teaching Award<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award recognizes faculty and contract instructors dedicated to sustained excellence in teaching, scholarship of teaching and the continual development of teaching.\u00a0This year\u2019s recipients are\u00a0Alexis Shotwell (Sociology and Anthropology) and\u00a0Hyoun\u00a0Jeong\u00a0Yoo (Linguistics and Language Studies).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award celebrates new faculty members who\u00a0demonstrate\u00a0excellence in teaching and who are active in and engaged with Carleton\u2019s teaching and learning community.\u00a0There are\u00a0four\u00a0recipients this year:\u00a0Siobhan Angus (Communication and Media Studies),\u00a0Susan Burhoe (Centre for Initiatives in Education), Nafiseh Kahani (Systems and Computing Engineering) and\u00a0Steven Pong (Industrial Design).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
