While these technologies create new challenges, they also create an opportunity to revisit broader questions about assessment design: What learning matters most? What evidence demonstrates that learning? How can assessment support both student success and academic integrity?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support instructors in this work, Teaching and Learning Services has developed a new resource,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/tls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/258\/2026\/08\/Assessment-Design-Aug2026_web.pdf\">Assessment Design, Academic Integrity, and Generative AI<\/a><\/strong> (pdf, 153KB).
