This 10-week program, which consists of weekly 2-3 hour meetings plus a significant weekly online component, allows participants to gain hands-on experience with a range of teaching and assessment methods, to learn how to manage both large and small classes, and to address teaching and learning issues particular to their disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>Although informed by theory, the focus will be on teaching practice. Participants will develop new course materials and try out various teaching approaches within a supportive peer cohort.<\/p>\n<p>The Fall 2017 session will run on Tuesdays afternoons from Sept. 26 to Dec. 5 (no class on Oct. 24 \u2014 reading week). Our first and last meetings will be 3 hours (1:30-4:30pm), while meetings for weeks 2-8 will be 2 hours (1:30-3:30pm).
