The first two papers forming part of a special issue of the Journal of European Public Policy on reactions to the politicization of trade policy in the transatlantic area have now been published. The special issue is edited by Dirk de Bièvre, Andreas Dür, and Scott Hamilton. It emerges from two workshops on this topic organized in the framework of thematic area 1 (Politicization of trade relations) of the Jean Monnet Network on Transatlantic Trade Politics.
