2017 Barbara Wells Award Goes to Samantha Munro!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to Samantha Munro who has received the 2017 Barbara Wells Award in recognition of her volunteer work with the Carleton University United Way campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Barbara Wells Award is issued annually to pay tribute to an outstanding volunteer who has made a significant contribution to the annual Carleton University United Way campaign through his or her dedication, and commitment of time and talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samantha has served several years on the Carleton United Way organizing committee and was the chair of the 2017 campaign. Her nominator said: “Her leadership has been instrumental in keeping the 2017 campaign on track.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara Wells worked at Carleton for 47 years before retiring in June 2014. She dedicated more than 20 years volunteering with the university’s United Way campaign.
