Last year, University Services offered a unique professional development opportunity to all of our staff. The University Services Professional Development Program is a customized program featuring five learning topics, each of which build upon the previous. Topics were selected based on the feedback gathered at 3 focus groups earlier this year, and include:

  • Leadership styles
  • Conflict management
  • Personality styles
  • Generational differences in the workplace
  • Strategies for career development

Each session was led by Richard Clayman, an instructor from the MBA program in the Sprott School of Business. Richard has been working with our leadership team over the past year, and his approach is open and engaging. He is looking forward to getting to know the individuals who make University Services such an amazing place to work.

Each session will be offered twice, allowing everyone in each department an opportunity to attend. Registration is free to you, as a benefit of your employment with the University Services team.

Upon completion of all 5 sessions, participants will receive a certificate and an endorsement from Professor Clayman about the program to include in your resume.
